Have been for brunch twice and both times food was amazing. Today went for a much anticipated evening meal, the food turned up very quick, too quick, a telling sign. We both had lamb shank which was luke warm, the carrots were so over cooked I found them inedible, the Yorkshire quite unpleasant. The meal just tasted like it had been reheated, which really doesn't work with roast. Very disappointed. The staff were very apologetic, and gave a generous discount to compensate, dealt with the matter very well. We will go back again another time, a second chance as it were, but we will order something that will need to be freshly cook. I would highly recommend the brunch, especially the Shakshuka, though my partner would argue the Draymans.

Had a lovely lunch here. Food was really delicious and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I are vegan and we were really impressed by the options. So delicious and imaginative, unlike the risotto or salad you so often get in country pubs. Thank you! Inlaws loved the roast dinner and steak pie too! Will be returning for sure, hopefully to sit in the lovely outside area! They also allow dogs!
