Such a lovely pub. The atmosphere is great. Really cosy. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Visited on a winter evening on a Sunday. Very pretty lights as we were walking in. Waitress was very pleasant but we did have to repeat EVERYTHING we said. The food was great. We tried the "tapas" for starters. Everyone enjoyed their individual meals... And there were no complaints about the desserts either! The 1 star deduction is because the fire was left to go out and the seating was uncomfortable.. eg on one side of the table that diners had to straddle the table legs. on the other side of the table there was no back to the bench so one had to sit upright or the evening.
We were given a table near the fire that we had asked for on booking. We ordered a mix of main courses and tapas to share. All dishes came together as requested and food and service was great. Lovely waitress who helped teenager in our group, with his order. When we paid our bill, we received 20% off vouchers for January. Happy days. We will certainly be back.
Service very good. Service staff friendly Vegetables cold. I was taught "that hot food should be served on a hot plate" ours were cold Last time we ate here we told the staff about cold plates. Nothing has changed. We do like coming here
